The Four of Swords is about waiting for a sign from the Universe before making a move. This card suggests a time of resting or breaking from convention and waiting things out. You may feel anxious or a deep sense of anticipation during the down period. Nonetheless, this card recommends slowing down, reflecting, and taking the time to smell the roses before rushing off to the next adventure. Waiting for the right moment before making a move can result in an answer to your prayers and the manifestation of desires. So it's only natural that the Sloth should appear as the Ark Animal Tarot and Oracle Deck companion to the Rider Waite Four of Swords.

“Once upon a time, there was a resplendent but terrifying beast as ancient as time itself,” this could well be the opening line from a fairy tale, but it also describes the Komodo Dragon perfectly. The Komodo makes it home on five Indonesian Islands. It weighs about 150 pounds and has huge, powerful claws. While humans first encountered them in the early 1900s, a sighting makes one wonder if the myths of flying, fire-breathing creatures have come down to earth in this formidable animal.

Two of Pentacles Tarot Card Meaning & Reading | Rider Waite
Tuesday Nov 17, 2020
Tuesday Nov 17, 2020
The Two of Pentacles tarot card teaches that balancing pleasure and responsibility are the keys to a successful life in this world. True, sometimes it feels more like a juggling act, but the more you practice, the better you become. In the end, you discover that juggling is actually a lot of fun, and you can even do it while dancing a jig!
Your sense of accomplishment does wonders to your self-esteem. In fact, despite life’s ups and downs, you still manage to come out on top. What makes The Two of Pentacles tarot card so fascinating is that it shows you how it’s done. Look at the Two of Pentacles closely. The scene in this image is a stage performance, meant to entertain as well teach.
And who says learning isn’t supposed to be fun? When you learn with your heart as well as your mind, you can make the most out of every lesson life throws your way. The dancer on the Two of Pentacles card performs his act on a grey stage, representing fundamental and quite serious principles. The blue backdrop shows that the real learning occurs at the subconscious level. Ships with colorful sails bounce around on exaggerated ocean waves across the background of the Two of Pentacles.
In The Two of Pentacles tarot card, the waves represent the ups and downs we experience as we go through life. They also remind us that that there are many things we cannot control. The ships in the Two of Pentacles symbolize our resilience, the ability to stay afloat, no matter what happens to us. Ships also symbolize travel, messages, and profits.
In the Two of Pentacles tarot card, the dancer himself is dressed in green, red, and orange. These colors symbolize life, passion, and wealth. Therefore, this performance teaches us about the joy of living in the physical world. Notice the green ribbon in the in the shape of the infinity sign around the pentacles, simulating the never ending act of balancing – or juggling – pleasure and responsibility. Today, tarot master Dayna Winters and I explore this card in all its depth and fascinating symbolism.

Two of Wands Tarot Card Meaning & Reading | Rider Waite
Thursday Nov 12, 2020
Thursday Nov 12, 2020
You know you’ve already come a long way when you see the Two of Wands. As you stand behind your castle’s battlements, your authority and wealth can be seen for miles. From here, you can easily survey the rich towns and fertile lands or your domain.
The staff behind you on the Two of Wands tarot card is securely fastened to one of the battlements. It shows that you have used your talents wisely.
Still, those grey walls on the Two of Wands are becoming a little monotonous and cold. Perhaps, your success has isolated you from others. Or you’re wondering what else is out there. It’s a conundrum.
The two of wands is an incredible fascinating addition to the minor arcana in the Rider Waite deck. And I could think of no one better to discuss this card than my soul sister and bonafied tarot and symbolism expert: Dayna Winters.

Two of Swords Tarot Card Meaning & Reading | Rider Waite
Tuesday Nov 10, 2020
Tuesday Nov 10, 2020
Things are currently in a precarious balance in the Two of Swords. From your point of view, there may be too many unknowns to take action at this point.
The woman sitting on the stone bench is blindfolded in the Two of Swords. While she can’t see a thing, she is holding up two very large – and dangerous looking – swords. But she’s not doing a thing.
The woman in the Two of Swords may have been frightened into inaction, or she could just be waiting for the right moment to strike. Are you brave enough to find out?
One interpretation of the Two of Swords is that she has shut herself off from her own feelings – and her problems in everyday life. On the other hand, it’s just as likely that the woman in the Two of Swords is only hiding her intentions from you while she is planning her next move.
The Kabbalistic title of the Two of Swords tarot card is Lord of Peace Restored. This peace is still fragile. The astrological correspondence, Moon in Libra, indicates that emotions are still running high, while Libra’s balancing influence is trying to keep things as calm as possible.
In the Two of Swords, the night sky illustrates the woman’s current state of darkness, but the waxing moon is shedding light on new possibilities – the distant lands at the other end of the water.
Unsheathed swords can never be at rest for long. The woman on the Two of Swords will have to decide on a course of action eventually. You cannot see their tips, so she has not made up her mind.
Yet …
Like many of the swords cards, the two of swords is metaphorically rich and there is tons of room for interpretation. That's why I've asked my goddess soul sister Dayna Winters to come explore the depths of this fascinating piece of the minor arcana.

Two of Cups Tarot Card Meaning & Reading | Rider Waite
Thursday Nov 05, 2020
Thursday Nov 05, 2020
When the chemistry is right, big things can happen. In a reading, the Two of Cups is most often a card promising true love. After all, we are looking at two young lovers exchanging their vows. But the the Two of Cups’ symbolism encompasses so much more than romantic love. What we see here can also spell the beginning of a lifelong friendship, a “meeting of the minds” – or any situation in which human energies enrich and transform one another.
Like in The Lovers of the Major Arcana, these things aren’t necessarily exclusive. Think of Pierre and Marie Curie, for example. In addition to being loving and devoted spouses, they were also brilliant physicists. More than a hundred years after their deaths, the world is still benefiting from their discoveries.
Here in the Two of Cups, two complimentary energies combine forces to create a whole. The woman is crowned with laurel, symbolizing eloquence and victory, and the man with the red roses of love and passion. Her white and blue garments show her devotion and spirituality, the man’s yellow tunic, understanding.
They contribute their own particular gifts to this union within the Two of Cups tarot card.
Like the snakes on the Caduceus rising from between their cups, their combined energies create a vibration, a pulse that becomes stronger with each cycle. Soaring toward the sky like fireworks, the man and woman in the Two of Cups explode into a dazzling light show above their heads, the red, winged lion.
This is the kind of partnership, romantic or otherwise, in which both parties unlock and boost one another’s potential. Together, are accomplishing more than they could have ever hoped to do on their own. Exciting things are about to happen.
I adore this card and couldn't wait to talk about it with my goddess, witchy-poo, all-things-symbolism sister Dayna Winters. We dive deep into love, union, the zodiac, and so much more!

Suit of Pentacles Symbolism | Tarot Card Reading & Meanings | Minor Arcana
Thursday Oct 29, 2020
Thursday Oct 29, 2020
There are a lot good reasons for doing the Snoopy Dance when you see the Suit of Pentacles show up in a reading – and not just because of those loud ka-ching sounds! In older decks, this suit was, uh, coined the Suit of Coins. In a regular deck of playing cards, this suit corresponds to the Suit of Diamonds.
In tarot card meanings, Pentacles symbolize material prosperity and abundance. But, sometimes, Pentacles have nothing to do with money at all. Besides, who pays their bills in coins anymore?
Pentacles tarot cards are all about “true” prosperity and abundance. While money has something to do with that, it isn’t “everything”. Your well-being and happiness in this material world matter more and Pentacles tell the story of what’s going on or what’s about to happen regarding these.
True, not having enough money to pay for basic necessities can be frightening. But in the end it’s only a tool that allows you to get the things you need – just like a hammer is one of many tools needed to build a house.
Note that the Pentacles in the Tarot are engraved with Pentagrams. The Pentagram is a five-pointed star, drawn in a single stroke. It symbolizes the universe in perfect balance and governed by spirit.
So the Suit of Pentacles is really about living in harmony with the material world? Excellent question. You get a five-pointed gold star! Living in harmony is making sure you’re meeting your physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual needs.
The Suit of Pentacles contains so many insights into the world of physical, material, spiritual, emotional, and psychic fulfillment. That's why I asked esteemed colleague, symbolism and tarot card reading expert Dayna Winters to come with me on an exploration of the suit of cups in tarot to examine how it's one of the deepest, most complex, nuanced suits in the minor arcana.

More about the Suit of Pentacles:
Suit of Pentacles Symbolism Pentacles are associated with the Element of Earth. They’re also the end result of the manifestation process (reaping what you sow).
So if you ever wondered what it’s all about, you’re right in the middle of it.
That’s why these Pentacles are inscribed with Pentagrams. The Pentagram’s origin can be traced to ancient Mesopotamia, and its meaning has changed several times throughout history. Here, each point represents one of the Four Elements: Earth, Water, Air, and Fire – plus a Fifth Element: Spirit (Aether, Ether), also called the Quintessence.
All elements participate in manifesting an idea. But to make this happen, they must all work in harmony with one another.
That’s why the Suit of Pentacles is also about balance.
The idea that the right side up Pentagram symbolizes good and the upside down version represents evil is only about 200 years old. It’s also an oversimplification. When upside down, the Pentagram actually shows that things are out of balance.

Suit of Wands Symbolism | Tarot Card Reading & Meanings | Minor Arcana
Tuesday Oct 27, 2020
Tuesday Oct 27, 2020
The Suit of Wands is about discovering just how much fun life can be, if you’re willing to get your duff off the couch and play outside! Okay, looking through the cards, some of those games look a little rough and tumble. Will you get your pants torn and your knees scuffed every now and then? You betcha! But where’s the fun in playing it safe all the time?
Hey, it’s not like anyone’s going to end up in the hospital, or anything. Yes, there’ll be a few trips to Dr. Mom or Dr. Dad. But that’s what growing and learning is all about. You’ll make mistakes every once in a while, and you’ll get knocked off your feet. However, in many respects, this is not only the most exciting, but also the safest suit in the Minor Arcana.
Because of the Wands’ rambunctious nature, it’s no coincidence that this suit corresponds to the Clubs in a deck of regular playing cards. Like Mark Twain’s Huckleberry Finn, the energy of this suit is wild, innocent – and unexpectedly wise. Its major themes are determination, growth, learning, creativity, and inspiration. The Suit of Wands are wild, free and full of life, just like most of the people holding them in this suit. These wands look like they’ve been cut fresh from the tree, and they’re completely untouched by any artisan’s hands. They haven’t been lathed, carved, sanded, or lacquered.
Heck, they haven’t even been stripped of their green leaves. Naturally perfect, they’re straight from the source. That’s what inspiration is all about! It’s an awesome idea straight from the universe that you can simply enjoy without having to worry about marketing plans, timelines, and budgets. Yes, you’ll have to do that once you get serious about putting it into action.
But not now. The journey through the Suit of Wands involves learning, growing, and asserting yourself. Oh, and it’s also about having fun along the way.

More about the Dove as a Spirit, Totem and Power Animal:
Dove Symbolism & Meaning
The sweet purity of a white Dove has become a symbol for God, Spirit and hope around the world. But did you know that not all doves are white? They come in a lovely array of colors each one having different meanings. A red Dove represents redemption and speckled Doves symbolize variety and diversity.
Dainty Doves have been used as message carriers because they seem to always find their way home. So if Dove shows up in your life perhaps it is time to consider a quest to the place you call home, and pay close attention to any harbingers you encounter on the way.
Among the ancient Greeks Dove was sacred to both Zeus and Aphrodite, the God of the sky and ruler of Olympus and the Goddess of love and passion. This combination is one of the reasons humans favored Doves as an emblem of family unity at occasions such as marriage. Their wings bear wisdom, good counsel and acceptance. In nature, doves are monogamous.
Babylonians regarded Dove as a fierce spirit who taught honor in all things, particularly battle. Somewhat contrariwise, the Bible says a Dove brought Noah a sign that the Lord’s wrath had ended, and there would be peace again. The New Testament uses Dove as the vessel for the Holy Spirit, and a sweet symbol of affection and true piety. It is interesting to note that the words used for Holy Spirit in the New Testament have feminine implications, which may be why Dove also connects with the Mother Mary (and by extension, the Goddess). Legend claims that our lovely spirit animal is so pure that no evil can take its form.
A mother Goddess, Ishtar also held the Dove sacred, perhaps being calmed and encouraged by the bird’s sweet song.
Some cultures claimed Dove gently guides the souls of the dead to their final resting place. Gypsy tradition says when Dove appears it brings healing messages from parted loved ones to our ears.

Suit of Cups Symbolism | Tarot Card Reading & Meanings | Minor Arcana
Tuesday Oct 20, 2020
Tuesday Oct 20, 2020
The Suit of Cups is a receptive, feminine energy. They're mainly concerned with emotions: their power, depth, movement - and wisdom. Listen, your emotions are powerful. They're the magic that fills you with the passion you need to go that extra mile. In a sense, they're the fuel that keeps the universe in constant motion. Without them, nothing would ever get done. Now emotions have two faces – constructive (positive) and destructive (negative). However, though destructive emotions can be powerful, love is by far the strongest emotion. That’s why the Suit of Cups corresponds to the Hearts in a deck of regular playing cards. Love can give you wings, or it can blind you. But the experience of loving can instill wisdom like little else. Love can do this, because it encourages you to look at what’s below the surface; into the world of your subconscious mind. Your hunches and psychic intuitions come from there.
So do your dreams and visions. The Suit of Cups holds so many of the world's secrets. That's why I asked esteemed colleague, symbolism and tarot card reading expert Dayna Winters to come with me on an exploration of the suit of cups in tarot to examine how it's one of the deepest, most complex, nuanced suits in the minor arcana.

More about the suit of cups:
Suit of Cups Symbolism The Suit of Cups is associated with the Element of Water. Of course, it’s not an element you’ll find on your periodic table. The “elements” of the Tarot are best compared to what chemistry calls “states of matter:” solid (Earth), liquid (Water), gaseous (Air), and plasma (Fire). Learn all about the 5 Elements – Symbolism & Meaning. In the Tarot, “water” is used as a catch-all for any fluid matter. Looking through the cards of this suit, you’ll see that these Cups can actually contain many different kinds of fluids. They’re filled with water, wine, and tears – even the four humors. They’re bodily fluids that represent the four basic human temperaments: sanguine, phlegmatic, choleric, and melancholic. Sanguine people are passionate. Phlegmatics are laid back. Cholerics are prone to anger, and melancholics are wistful and sad. That’s why the Suit of Cups often deals with emotions. It challenges you to take an honest look at your feelings.
Here, you’re encouraged to examine what causes them, how they affect your decisions, and how they can guide you. Suit of Cups & The Zodiac Signs The Astrological Signs associated with this suit are Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces. These are all Western Zodiac Signs. Cancer is highly emotionally sensitive, and that’s why he hides under his tough exterior. Getting him to come out of this shell isn’t easy, but he’s willing to take risks for a great cause.
Extremely loving, this sign can also be very possessive. Scorpio is more outgoing and embodies the amazing power of this element – as well as the positive and negative extremes to which it can go. Always eager to make a good thing better, this sign represents transformation on all levels of existence. Deeply knowledgeable in spiritual mysteries, its relentless emotional drive makes it unstoppable once it sets out to do something. On the other hand, Scorpios aren’t likely to change course once they begin. Champions for justice, they’re also bitter and vengeful when betrayed.

The Ark Spirit, Totem, & Power Animal Tarot & Oracle Cards Deck is the most comprehensive, versatile Animal Tarot & Oracle Deck in the world. One of the incredible offerings in the full color, 376 page guidebook is the Ark's signature spread contributed by my soul sister and expert on all things tarot and esoterica: Dayna Winters.
The spread is titled, "Father Sky, Mother Earth" and it is one of the most nuanced tarot spreads you can work with. It's a ten-card spread that examines the client's question from the perspective of the interplay between the divine masculine and divine feminine elements at play in the questioner's life. It's meant to be read in at least two directions, which leaves tons of room for depth and exploration (which is probably why the reading went so long). In this incredibly emotional video, I invited Dayna to display how the spread works by giving me a reading.
Our goal was to explore a specific question, that I was honestly struggling with before we began the reading. Not only did Dayna give me the answers I sought with the Father Sky, Mother Earth spread, she and the Ark cards ended up digging way deeper into my soul and history than I was expecting. I guess I know what it feels like to be a client!

Missing a beloved family member or friend? Need the confidence to be your most magnificent self? Cardinal, as a Spirit, Totem, and Power Animal, can help! Delve deeply in Cardinal symbolism and meaning to find out how this Animal Spirit Guide can support, strengthen, and inspire you! The bright red color of this member of the Finch family, along with its sharp song, add to the symbolism and meaning behind Cardinal. The Bird is particularly focused on in Christian tradition where it represent the eternal nature of our soul and the sacrifice of Christ.
It’s interesting that the Latin term for Cardinal means pivot or hinge. These Birds are named for the Cardinals of the Catholic church, with their brilliant red robes. Cardinals, in nature, mate for life. They’re also homebodies staying close to home throughout the year. This gives them strong ties to devotion, nurturing, and love. As Cardinals are ‘year-round’ Birds, their Numerology association is Number 12 – the number of perfection and completion. Seeing Cardinals is considered particularly fortunate for relationships because we want those we love to be with us through all seasons or ‘year-round’.
Only the male of the species bears the intense red with which these creatures have become associated. Interestingly enough, the brighter the red in Cardinal Spirit’s feathers, the more apt he is to capture the lady of his dreams and mate. Who would have known that Cardinal is such a Romeo! Beyond being Mr. Romance, the male Red Cardinal shows pluck in defending his home and what they consider personal “space.” Do not mess with this guy in his territory. Considering the symbolic value and Bird Medicine here, Cardinal becomes a fierce Guardian Spirit Animal. The Cardinal song is delightfully varied.
Bird watchers tell us they hear certain whistles that sound like the word “cheer.” What a wonderful message to spread throughout the woods and regions where Cardinal dwells – be of good cheer; this is an energetic, life-loving song that boosts any weary soul. Cardinal couples sing together, as well as singing songs to each other. If you are in a relationship, this symbolizes both unity and diversity – the things so important to a healthy, loving balance. Sing together, particularly in difficult times. Sing to each other of your feelings, desires, and dreams. Remain faithful and attentive, and your relationship has a great future.
Lightworkers describe the Red Cardinal as a Bird with an objective. This Animal Spirit Guide reminds us to watch for the opportunity and think deeply about our purpose in the greater scheme of things. Red Cardinals, in particular, are considered feminine in nature, focusing our attention on the vivid side of the Goddess, the Sacred Feminine, and life-giving blood at the time of birth. Cardinals also represent the intuitive and inventive nature that we may otherwise overlook.

Suit of Swords Symbolism | Tarot Card Reading & Meanings | Minor Arcana
Tuesday Sep 29, 2020
Tuesday Sep 29, 2020
In tarot, the suit of swords in the minor arcana is commonly associated with the aspects of the intellect. But, whether you're an intuitive, experiential, or knowledge-based tarot reader, you've likely encountered the darker aspect of the suit of swords: strife. The symbolism and artwork of this suit in the minor arcana in the Rider-Waite Tarot Deck (and therefore a lot of other decks) certainly lend some legitimacy to this response with their myriad of swords dangling above, beneath, and around hapless victims who appear powerless to stop the encroaching threat, even though they see it coming.
So I asked esteemed colleague, symbolism and tarot card reading expert Dayna Winters to come with me on an exploration of the suit of swords in tarot to examine why it's probably the most shied-away-from by readers and tarot lovers alike (including me). Do swords always mean things are about to get hard? What role does numerology play in the story of swords? How are swords viewed in Shamanic ritual? What about the intellect? Dayna and I explore each of these topics and more in this fascinating conversation.

More about butterfly:
Butterfly Symbolism & Meaning: When Butterfly Spirit begins visiting your life, something new and wonderful is about to unfold! It’s time for personal growth and greater awareness of your mental, physical, and spiritual rhythms. Change can sometimes be challenging and daunting because it moves us out of our comfort zone. You cannot embrace a “new you” until you release the old. With Butterfly Medicine, you’ll find that you can fly gracefully above the barriers that would otherwise hold you back. Butterfly as a teacher puts great emphasis on movement: Be it blossom-to-blossom, home-to-home, or one state in our spiritual exploration to another.
Butterfly often turns our thoughts inward to review elements of our character, morals, and habits that weigh us down, keeping us stuck in a mire of negative energy. The goal of your winged ally is restoring lightness in your Being so you can dance life’s dance with unbridled joy! In looking at the Butterfly spirit in history, this Animal Guide has many faces and attributes: Christians saw it as representing the soul and its journey. Native American tribes respect Butterfly as the messenger of transformation, happiness and the glorious colors of nature, and in China newlyweds were often given gifts bearing two Butterfly images to insure their marital happiness and harmony. Butterfly Medicine is one of simplification. Go back to the little things. Tend them like flowers in the field. Open your senses to the nectar and aroma of living in the moment.
Do what you can now, but remember quality learning rarely happens quickly. Slow, mindful changes are the ones that last a lifetime, laying the foundations for enlightenment and self-actualization. Eventually, your inner Butterfly will emerge from its work when the time is perfect, with fresh ideas and inventiveness to guide your next spiritual stages. Butterfly Spirit Animal: As a Spirit Animal Guide, Butterfly whispers of your hidden potentials. There’s an old saying that there is nothing in a caterpillar that knows it’s going to be a Butterfly. Nonetheless, the transformation from caterpillar to winged wonder happens quite naturally. Are you still the caterpillar? Then feed your soul until it’s full and ready for integrating new truths.
Butterfly also speaks of happiness and vision. If you’ve been feeling blue, Butterfly as a Spirit Animal is here to help. If you’re working on divinatory arts, Butterfly gives you greater clarity. In nature, this insect’s eyes are very keen, including being able to see ultraviolet light. Don’t be surprised if you start catching Fairies and Angels out of the corner of your eyes. Fact: when the Butterfly loses an antenna, it cannot fly properly. As a Spirit Messenger, this means that Butterfly wants you to keep your spiritual antenna honed and tuned to the Divine and Higher Self, so you don’t lose your way.

The Major Arcana is the beginning of the tarot story and charting it can give you a deep insight into your own spiritual growth, the esoteric, the occult, paganism, shamanism, and much more. That's why today I've asked my good friend Dayna Winters to come on the show and have a long conversation about the Major Arcana. Dayna is an absolute expert in Wicca, Witchcraft, Tarot, and so much more, so she's the perfect guest with which to explore the deep waters of traditional tarot.
But we don't just stick with the old Rider Waite tarot deck, Dayna and I also draw some connections between traditional tarot symbolism and the animals I chose to use in my deck: The Ark Animal Tarot & Oracle Cards.
So strap in for an absolutely enchanting conversation between an expert in tarot reading and a long-time shamanistic practitioner about the symbolism, narrative, aesthetic, intention, purpose, and meanings to be found in the Major Arcana.

More Info about Snake:
Snake Symbolism & Meaning
The idea of Snake Spirit slithering into your life may not, at first, seem appealing. Many people have an aversion or fear of Snakes. Nonetheless, the ancients around the world thought of Snake as a symbol of life, change and longevity.
It is not unusual for folks to seek out Snake symbolism and meaning when you need to heal or transform your life in some manner that improves the overall quality of living.
Think of Greek tales of Asclepius, the God of medicine. His power tool is a staff with two Snakes entwined (the Caduceus). If you’re working on becoming a Light Healer (for people, animals or the earth) this is an excellent symbol to embrace for honoring Snake.
Because the Snake moves along the ground, many connect this creature to the Earth’s most primal energy and the force of creation itself. Additionally the Earth element aspect of Snake reminds us to keep one foot on the ground even when exploring Spiritual pursuits.
There are underlying themes in Snake Symbolism and Meaning and one is definitely personal growth.
Snakes shed their skin as they grow, so ask yourself – what do you need to shake off so you can expand your horizons.
Snake speaks heavily of old, outmoded ways of thinking and living that will hold you back until you’re ready for release. Once you do, the Snake’s metamorphosis process can begin within and without. The only caution is that the way in which you use your time and energy matters in this journey. Apply yourself to noble aspirations that provide balance and substance, and raise vibrational frequencies in your aura.
Snake Spirit is also a guide for Spiritual renewal. If you’re thinking of taking a new path but hesitate, Snake supports your efforts. Snake may also warn of moving too fast into something that may not be right for you. Move slowly. In nature, the Snake’s tongue is one of the most developed sensory organs. It gathers a great deal of information quickly so Snake stays out of harm’s way. Let that refined sense of “smell” direct you toward the best choice.
Snake Spirit Animal
When Snake starts appearing as a Spirit Animal and Guide it is time to cast away illusions, unhealthy beliefs and unreasonable expectations be they emotional, physical or Spiritual. The only way to wholeness is by walking in truth and living each moment to its fullness.
Give up the “would haves”, “could haves” and “should haves” and focus on NOW.
Several cultures including Celtic, Indian and Ancient Greeks felt the Snake embodied sexuality. It’s not surprising then that Snake Spirit may come to help you when you struggle with your passions and pleasures, and experiencing them wisely, without guilt.
The Snake opens Chakras, particularly the Base Chakra so you can understand and embrace sacred sensuality in body and Spirit. This path to energetic opening is referred to as a “Kundalini Awakening”.
One of the most potent lessons from Snake Spirit is that of the cycle of life, death and rebirth. Note this may not be literal (situations, relationships etc. have these elements). No matter the circumstance, let Snake guide you through this mystery. Keep a journal of your journey toward transformation.
Always remember, though, Snake sheds their entire skin, they re-emerge whole. Snake Spirit can help you glide gracefully through even the most harrowing experiences.
Snakes are terrifying to most folks. But why? Surely a ferocious, hungry Tiger pouncing on you or angry Scorpion hidden in your shoe is more likely to do damage, right? Snakes are primordial creatures and, so, stir ancient memories housed in our DNA. Snake energy causes us to consider life and death matters. This can rock your world.
When Snake slithers in as your Spirit Animal, things are about to get really “real”. Don’t be afraid. Snake medicine can help you.

Spirit Animal Mediumship - Let the Wild Guide Your Mediumship Development
Tuesday Sep 01, 2020
Tuesday Sep 01, 2020
There are many paths toward mediumship, but one that's not talked about nearly as much as it should be (in my humble opinion) is spirit animals! In this video I discuss my experience as an evidential medium, which basically means that I can back up my mediumship with evidence from the world of spirit, and how the animal kingdom has assisted in those efforts.
Over the years, I've found that the animal spirits are hungry to participate in a dialogue with we mediums. So in this discussion, you'll also hear a few stories that cover how and why the animal spirits have gotten involved with my readings in the past. Whether you're looking to learn more about mediumship or searching for a brand new angle on something you've been exploring for years, this video will give you tons of information and ideas to carry forward in your shamanic journey.

Just about every day someone asks, “What is a Spirit Animal?” While it’s easy to simply reply, “The animal spirit you are inside” that’s not necessarily accurate. This episode gives history, definitions, and ideas from around the globe. No one way of thinking is right or wrong. If you truly want to work with your animal allies, you’ll gather all the wisdom and use the bits that most speak to you as you need them.
Depending on the culture, you might hear or read the terms Spirit, Totem, or Power Animal. Each means mostly the same thing. However, here on the What Is My Spirit Animal YouTube Channel, I ‘categorize’ and further define the terms only for the purposes of making it easier to work with the energies and medicine of each.
My way is not the only way or even the ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ way. It’s just the way I’ve ‘invented’ through my 20-plus years of teaching Shamanism, Psychic Development, Tarot Reading, and working with Spirit, Totem, and Power Animal energy and medicine.

More about Spirit, Totem, and Power Animals:
Spirit Animals are animal spirit guides who appear when we need love, strength, support, inspiration, and guidance.
The Totem Animal is who you ‘are’.
The Power Animal is a spiritual energy that you call on from within or invoke for assistance in a specific situation. You can ask this energy to stay ignited in you for your whole life or only in certain circumstances. We are all connected. We share so many DNA pairings with plants and animals that you really ‘are’ a Mammal, Insect, Bird, Fish, Reptile, Amphibian, Fish, and Crustacean! So, when invoke or call on from within means a literal re-awakening of a part of your ‘self’ that has been lying dormant or has been injured and needs healing.
Spirit Animal Definition
So, what exactly is a Spirit Animal and how do we work with it effectively?
Even Einstein felt that God revealed itself in both man and animal. That’s a pretty good letter of reference.
Your Spirit Animal will present to you during the times when you consciously call on it and during times when your conscious mind is not aware of what you need but your soul is. By way of example, perhaps you keep seeing Butterflies in the oddest places. And you want to leave a toxic relationship or job but just don’t know how or are afraid to make the necessary changes. Butterfly teaches us that it’s OK to live in the dark (cocoon) before transforming into a ‘place’ of beauty. Butterfly says you’ll be OK when you make the transition and allow metamorphosis in your life. Just one animal can appear in a dream, on TV, in songs, in art, et al or it can be many. The animal spirits know what to do and when to do it.
Can a Spirit Animal Be a Human?
Humans are technically animals so, yes. I believe humans can be a Spirit Animal
You know that guy or girl who helps you change a flat tire? Spirit Animals are somewhat like that. It (s/he) has come into your life to fix, encourage, teach or offer perspective on something. This is typically a short-lived relationship. Once the Animal Guide’s work is done they move on but they can and do come back whenever you need assistance. In the case of issues that last for months or even years, a person may come into a deeper relationship with the Spirit Animal knowing it is behind life’s stage cueing you with information and suggestions.
Because life has many phases, occasions, transformations, tasks and proverbial journeys, you can or might encounter more than one Spirit Animal in your lifetime. How many? That depends a lot on how open and aware you are. A Spirit Animal will try and capture your attention, but if you brush off all those signals as happenstance the Guide won’t hang around waiting for you to answer, as they say, the clue phone.
How does an Animal Spirit make itself known?
